Glee has begun a nationwide casting call today, in search of performers between the ages of 16 and 26 for recurring roles in the second season of the Fox Golden Globe–winning phenomenon. Entrants must submit videos in which they explain why they want to appear on Glee and perform a rendition of “one of Glee’s hit tracks” — all in five minutes or less. Though by hosting the competition on MySpace, the show is likely to attract a preponderance of kids who were popular seven years ago but who no one talks to anymore. [PopWatch/EW]
