At Elton John’s Oscar viewing party last night, White said she will be hosting the show, though she offered no details about when or if she’ll be hosting with other female comedians, as had been rumored and then discounted. “I don’t know why or how, but it’s been wonderful,” she said of the Facebook-led campaign to get the 88-year-old into Studio 8H.
