Jimmy Kimmel stopped by David Letterman’s Late Show tonight and after some light jabs (“Thanks for inviting me to your Super Bowl party,” Jimmy quipped), the two waxed nostalgic for the Leno-Conan wars of a few months ago. Letterman seemed a tad hesitant to dump too heavily on Leno (“It was fun, it was funny and nobody got hurt,” he justified). But Kimmel was a bit more free-wheeling, admitting to “sucker punching” Leno when he went on his Jay Leno Show and grilled him about “stealing Conan’s job from him.” Of hosting an entire show while impersonating Leno, Kimmel offered: “It’s fun to be Jay — it’s easier.”
