Yesterday we put together a list of ten indie-rock acts we could see hip-hop embracing, including Joanna Newsom (No. 6). And today, right on cue, the Roots have announced Newsom’s appearing on their upcoming album, How I Got Over, along with John Legend and Jim James (he didn’t make our list, unfortunately).
