The first signs of trouble came with an ominous tweet from Bieber’s account a few hours ago reading “NEW ZEALAND we are coming!!!,” putting fear in the collective heart of this small island country’s population, which numbers just over 4 million. Bieber has touched down this morning at Auckland International Airport to a chanting, fervent mob, expected only to worsen as he makes his way to C4’s Select Live show and the Strathallan School in Papakura, which won the Bieber appearance through a seemingly harmless radio contest.
