Soundgarden Plays First Show in Thirteen Years

Soundgarden took the stage at Seattle’s Showbox at the Market last night to rock out for the first time in thirteen years. Playing under the name Nudedragons, an anagram of Soundgarden, Chris Cornell and the crew played a two-hour set of classics that kicked off with “Spoonman” and ended with a cover of the Doors’ “Waiting for the Sun.” Unfortunately, there’s very little proof of the show on YouTube. There is, however, this short, grainy video posted by one fan who writes that he “couldn’t film very much becasue [sic] the security was insane at this show.” Enjoy!
