Simon Monjack, the former husband of Brittany Murphy and one of the writers behind the 2007 Edie Sedgwick biopic Factory Girl, died in his home last night, reportedly from cardiac arrest. He was found unconscious by Sharon Murphy, Brittany’s mom, and paramedics were called, but resuscitation efforts failed. He was 39. [TMZ]
