Sheen Agrees to Deal for More Two and a Half Men

While Charlie Sheen was making noise about being prepared to walk away from his hit show Two and a Half Men, insiders at Warner Bros. TV and CBS had been predicting that Sheen would re-up, most likely just hours before CBS announced its new fall schedule. So guess what? CBS’s upfront is Wednesday, and Sheen’s PR rep just e-mailed Vulture to let us know a deal had been done for a “contract renewal.” And he issued this statement from Sheen:

“To put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I’m looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights,” Sheen said. “I want to thank Les Moonves for his support.”

No word yet on how much money Sheen will get. But we’re sure it’s somewhere between “shitload” and the national debt.
