Hot off the recent dissolution of his own band, Oasis front man Liam Gallagher will produce a movie about the Beatles’ final years as a group. The film will be based on Richard DiLello’s 1972 book The Longest Cocktail Party: An Insider’s Diary of the Beatles, Their Million Dollar Apple Empire and Its Wild Rise and Fall and presumably derivative of the Beatles’ own movie about their breakup.
