While in Cannes talking up The Longest Cocktail, the Beatles movie he’s producing, Liam Gallagher revealed that his new, unnamed band will provide the music for the film: “We can recreate that sound like that, you know what I mean? I think it will be more exciting if you have a sound that reminds you of that era, instead of the obvious, going, ‘Oh, there’s ‘Let It Be.’” Interesting! Also, in the most entertaining manner possible, Liam promises that he’s not considering the movie industry full time: “I’m not doing films about whales or unkempt eyebrows or anything like that.
