The Museum of Modern Art in Paris Should Probably Invest in a Better Alarm System

Five paintings, by Picasso, Matisse, Braque, Modigliani, and Fernand Leger, worth an estimated $630 million, were stolen from Paris’s Museum of Modern Art last night after someone broke through a window and cut a padlock. Museum officials discovered the theft this morning, and are puzzling over the failed alarm system. Seems like Ocean’s team could have pulled this thing off between lunch and snacktime. [BBC]
