Jersey Shore’s Mike “the Situation” Sorrentino has presented himself as quite the genius when it comes to nicknames; he even went so far as to dub Conan “the Solution.” But a BlackBook profile of Doron Ofir, the man who cast the Jersey Shore (and is now busy casting not only The Persian Version, Wicked Summer, and Jersey Shore 3, but also Chongas, “a Jersey Shore–like take on Latino gay men”), suggests Sorrentino might be misrepresenting his talents. In his casting video, Sorrentino told producers, “Mikey Abs, Mikey Arms and The Situation are my nicknames.” Those first two don’t have quite the same ring to them, now do they now? [BlackBook]
