Zoolander Sequel May Be Happening After All

After Ben Stiller’s tweet a few days ago which seemingly implied that Paramount was no longer moving forward with the Zoolander sequel, writer/director Justin Theroux told Movieline that, as far as he knows, the movie’s still happening. “Today and yesterday I was with Ben, and today, we continued to break story,” he said in an interview. “I have not gotten word from anyone to put pencils down, so I am continuing as though we are proceeding with that film.” When asked directly about Stiller’s tweet, Theroux played dumb:

“I wish I could answer that! Honestly, I don’t know,” he said. “You’d have to ask Ben. I have no clue what those things mean. I’ve heard them, too. We’re operating as though it’s absolutely going.”

Of course, this leads to the question: during the course of two days spent together, Theroux really never thought he might just want to, you know, ask Stiller what was up with that tweet about the potential death of their movie?
