The first full-length trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, due this November (with Part II to follow in July 2011), is out - and it’s positively epic. Heralded as “the motion picture event of a generation” and accompanied by a swelling and bombastic score, the pervasive hyperbole does actually seem warranted. The trailer focuses on the Harry-Voldemort showdown and it’s hard not to feel all tingly when Harry declares he gets to live because he has “something worth living for.” It makes that film with vampires and wolves coming out this week seem, well, almost puny.
