Kanye West, Everyone Else Releasing Albums on September 14

Kanye’s new album will be out September 14! At least, that’s what Big Sean, the Detroit rapper signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music (plus Andre Harrell and a bunch of other people on Twitter) claim. This weekend, Sean tweeted: “September 14, 2010 My album Finally Famous x Kanye West album Good Ass Job x Kid Cudi album Man on the Moon pt 2 RT #GOODMUSIC,” meaning his own debut and Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, from fellow G.O.O.D. Music artist Kid Cudi, plus Kanye’s highly anticipated 808s & Heartbreak follow-up, were all scheduled for the same day. Great news! Then again, that tweet has been deleted and there’s no confirmation on the date. (Also, MTV says Good Ass Job is now untitled).

But if Kanye, Cudi, and Big Sean’s albums do end up coming out September 14, they’ll join a well-stocked release lineup. Also out that day: Interpol’s self-titled fourth album, the Walkmen’s Lisbon, Brandon Flowers’s Flamingo, Trey Songz’s untitled latest, Of Montreal’s False Priest, Bilal’s Airtight’s Revenge, and Miles Davis. Why are they all out September 14? Who the hell knows?! Now the important question: What leaks first?
