Prince Harry and friends were on hand at Governors Island this weekend to take part in the annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. Josh Lucas was there as well, which was the perfect opportunity to ask him about his history with horses. Well, Josh? “I did a television series in Australia when I was 21 years old playing the man from Snowy River, who was considered the greatest horseback rider in Australian history,” Lucas told us. “It was a strange job, because they brought over an American who didn’t ride horses that well, and over the next year and a half I rode horses to the point of doing stunts. I have a great, great, great appreciation of the relationship that you have to have with an animal to do it well. It’s a really profound experience. It really is.” Okay!
