Today in adaptations of dubious necessity: The people at the Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam have taken it upon themselves to authorize a graphic-novel version of The Diary of Anne Frank, from the authors of The 9/11 Commission Report: A Graphic Adaptation, in order “to appeal to teenagers.” Because the book doesn’t already appeal to teenagers.
