The merry pranksters over at 4chan, the Internet message board responsible for such tomfoolery as Lolcats and rigging the Time 100 poll last year, have, inevitably, turned their attention to Justin Bieber. Thanks to them, North Korea is about to win the Justin Bieber My World Contest, an Internet poll asking that all important question: Which country should the Bieb visit next? Even though Bieber is unlikely to visit North Korea whatever the outcome of the poll, since we all know what happens when he does appear — civil unrest! — this hack can clearly be understood as 4chan striking a blow for democracy.
