Michael Giacchino, who scored the suspense on Lost — and is therefore responsible for the shrill yet evocative tick of the smoke monster — has been tapped to compose the original music for Let Me In, the anticipated American adaption of the Swedish vampire film Let the Right One In. The remake is being directed by Matt Reeves, who previously created Felicity with Lost’s J.J. Abrams, so Giacchino, who was previously nominated for an Oscar for scoring Ratatouille and won one for Up, is basically keeping it in the family. [/Film]
