Millions in Jeopardy of Missing Their Mad Men

About 2.3 million Americans may be throwing vases and collapsing in their fainting couches come the July 25 Mad Men premiere if AT&T and AMC’s parent company don’t come to an agreement. AT&T’s U-Verse is threatening to drop AMC (home to Mad Men), as well as channels IFC and WE, when its contract with Rainbow Media Holdings expires July 14. The two companies have been negotiating for six months without coming to a resolution; an AT&T spokesman said Rainbow’s channels are “among the least-watched and most overpriced per viewer.” [NYDN]
