According to Radar and TMZ, Mel Gibson’s former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has audio of the actor saying things like, “You look like a fucking pig in heat and if you get raped by a pack of niggers it will be your fault.” Which, if true, is obviously not the kind of thing an already fragile career (“sugar tits”) recovers from. Movieline’s Kyle Buchanan asks what we also wonder: What becomes of this October’s Gibson-starring, Jodie Foster–directed puppet adventure The Beaver, which actually seems like it might be pretty good? Luckily, The Beaver is being made by Twilight studio Summit Entertainment, who can afford the hit, especially after this weekend. But will Foster finally give up on Gibson?
