Citing a source close to the show, EW is reporting that Fox is basically just kicking back and reveling in the ‘round the clock obsession over who will take over the seats at the judges’ table. “It’s the perfect position to be in,” the source says, adding that the network probably will wait until the end of the month to make the announcement. Oh, and as for those rumors about J. Lo’s total diva-tude causing her name to fall out of the race? A different source “close to the negotiations” says “no deals have fallen apart due to unreasonable demands,” adding “this is an extremely high-profile gig, and you’d better believe no one — male or female — has been unreasonable at the negotiating table.” [EW]
