
In her column in today’s Times, Maureen Dowd has an IM conversation in print with Sam Wasson, the author of the Breakfast at Tiffany’s history Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M., about how much present-day romantic comedies suck. Her colleagues have said this all before — and even made the same observation about the multitude of actresses named Jennifer! — but, as always, true things should be repeated and repeated until they get really boring.
