New Spider-Man Andrew Garfield and director Marc Webb are starting to meet with actresses to play the webslinger’s love interest (who won’t be Mary Jane) in the rebooted franchise. The front-runners are reportedly a bunch of up-and-coming, slightly indie chicks: Lily “Daughter of Phil” Collins, Imogen Poots, Ophelia Lovibond, Emma Roberts, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’s Teresa Palmer, and Scott Pilgrim’s Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
