
Neal, who won an Oscar in 1964 for her role opposite Paul Newman in Hud, died Sunday after a battle with lung cancer. Neal - who won a Tony Award for her role in Another Part of the Forest in 1946 - also starred in the films The Fountainhead, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and The Day The Earth Stood Still. She earned another Oscar nomination in 1968 for The Subject Was Roses and three Emmy nominations over her career. [HR]
