It looks like we’re going to have to wait a little longer for The Situation’s eagerly-anticipated acting debut. Though he was set to guest star on Fox’s Bones as a fitness guru victim, talks between MTV and the Fox show fell through. “The Situation is not going to work out,” executive producer Stephen Nathan told EW. “There were so many contractual difficulties with MTV that it just became an impossibility.” But don’t despair - the episode will still serve as an homage to the guidos and guidettes… well, maybe “homage” isn’t quite the right word. “…The episode will still be our little tribute to Jersey Shore,” Nathan said, “and it will do what many people in America would like to see themselves —which is one of those people dead.” We’re not as into the second season either, Nathan, but that seems a touch drastic.
