Poor Hayden Christensen. He goes to sleep one night as Anakin Skywalker and wakes up to find he has arisen in an apocalypse B-movie: Everyone’s dead, the sun’s blacked out, and he and a scrappy few survivors (Thandie Newton, John Leguizamo) must band together, flashlights in hand, to battle the very evil forces lurking in the darkness. It’s like Twilight Zone and 28 Days Later smushed with 30 Days of Night, minus the budget to make the bad guys scary-looking enough to show off in the trailer.
