As I reported yesterday, Stephen Colbert is set to testify in front of the house immigration subcommittee tomorrow, in character for some reason. Here is the first segment in a two-part series in which he heads to a migrant farm to try to do some of the jobs that anti-immigration folks say immigrants are stealing from Americans. I guess that’s all it takes to become an expert worthy of testifying before our elected officials. But to be fair, the House of Representatives is already pretty full of people pretending to be ideologues for the sake of cable TV, so he’ll fit right in.
