Collider has a great interview with Mitch Hurwitz about Running Wilde and the Arrested Development movie he claims to be halfway finished writing. Here’s his take on the initial critical responses to Running Wilde, which have been not great: “I have come to terms with the fact that this may be an acquired taste, if you know about Arrested Development. I’m not comparing this to Modern Family, but even if I had done something of that high quality, there might have been a big group of critics that would have said, ‘It’s different. He’s backing off something.’ My personality and, more to the point, my past work is going to be a factor, in the discussion of this. Hopefully, it won’t be with an audience, but I think it will be with critics. “
