
John Slattery, Mad Men’s silver fox Roger Sterling, will join Jon Hamm in schilling for cars. Slattery is the new spokesperson for Ford Motor Company’s Lincoln cars; Hamm’s already doing voice work for Mercedes-Benz. The marketing director of Ford told the Times that Slattery “represents the potential customer that Ford Motor is seeking to attract to the Lincoln brand — a luxury-car buyer in his 40s and 50s,” failing to add who likes drinking during the day, sleeping with the secretaries, and letting loose one-liners.
