Fox’s Two New Animated Series Include Napoleon Dynamite and a Jonah Hill Project

Fox loves itself some animation! It just ordered two new animated series for next year, one based on Napoleon Dynamite and one from Jonah Hill.

The Napoleon Dynamite is being helmed by former Simpsons showrunner Mike Scully and will include all of the original cast as voice talent. If it does well, those “Vote For Pedro” shirts might become wearable again, at least for a little while.

The Jonah Hill show is called Allen Gregory, and it will feature Hill voicing the title role of “a freakishly smart, internationally acclaimed 7-year-old kid who’s about to take on the task of attending elementary school with kids his own age.” Joining hill as writers are Andrew Mogel and Jarred Paul, who wrote Hot Tub Time Machine and Yes Man writers.

I’m not sure how Seth MacFarlane is involved in these shows, but I’m sure that’ll come to light soon enough.
