Now that George Miller’s Mad Max reboot has been delayed so many times that even cursed Hobbit director Peter Jackson is like, “Dude, maybe the universe is trying to tell you something,” its star Tom Hardy is free to reunite with Inception helmer Christopher Nolan for Nolan’s third Batman film. Deadline says that Hardy is the first bit of new casting confirmed for the movie, though it’s not certain yet whether he’ll be playing the lead baddie. Can we suggest the love interest instead?
