And appropriately, it’s with a Jewish joke! At an awards ceremony last night, Zach Galifianakis, who was a pivotal figure in getting Mel Gibson bounced from The Hangover 2, was presented with an award by The Hangover director Todd Phillips. Accepting the award, Galifianakis called Phillips “the worst Jew in Hollywood,” before adding, “that’s an inside joke.” If this is not as direct a comment on the Gibson sitch as you would like, rest assured there will be more: Galifianakis and Phillips are about to go on a press tour for Due Date that is going to be totally hijacked by the Mel of it all, so lots more jokes/allusions/explanations in the near future!
