The final draft of the American Pyscho musical is still being worked on, but playwright Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is already talking it up to the New York Post, and he promises all kinds of great things: “There are murders, and they are on stage in full view of the audience … An ax and a chef’s knife will be used. I think there’s going to be a lot of blood.” Also, here are a few scenes from the book that Aguirre-Sacasa says will be in the show: Patrick Bateman putting on a raincoat during one murder so as to not blood up his suit; Bateman running into Tom Cruise in an elevator; Bateman and his pals comparing the quality of their respective business cards. Sounds good! [NYP]
