Dane Cook’s former business manager Darryl McCauley pleaded guilty to embezzlement and now owes the comedian $12 million in restitution. McCauley’s been sentenced to five to six years in prison for larceny and forgery. And, incidentally, he’s Cook’s half brother. Ouch. But at least things are looking up for Cook, as he debuts on Broadway this spring, and he’s said before that he believes he should use the darker aspects of life in his comedy. That’s the spirit.
