Since Liz Lemon is giving Matt Damon plenty of time off and the Bourne series has moved on without him, Damon finds himself in kind of a fun place for an A-list actor: He’s got a fairly wide-open schedule next year with no franchise attachments. And so it is that after filming Cameron Crowe’s We Bought a Zoo (and probably before he starts lensing Steven Soderbergh’s long-promised Liberace), he’ll star in Elysium, the new sci-fi film from District 9 director Neill Blomkamp.
