Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis Discussed ‘Awkward’ Sex Scenes, But Not Pulling One Another’s Hair

Natalie Portman helped Mila Kunis get cast in Black Swan: “When Darren [Aronofsky] asked me, ‘Who do you think could do this part? Who has sort of a similar height, coloring, physique?’ I was like, ‘Oh, Mila, Mila, Mila,” the actress told MTV on Wednesday. But, “I didn’t really think through the fact that I was going to have to have sex with her in the movie. So, it was pretty awkward. I almost feel like it would be easier to do it with someone you didn’t know.” MTV’s Josh Horowitz then casually asked the demure Portman for more details on simulating sex with Mila Kunis — “Did you talk about it? Did you walk each other through it?” — for journalism’s sake, of course. “We talked about it,” Portman admitted.”The shared experience, the awkwardness of it. But we weren’t plotting it out, like, ‘And then, pull my hair.’ That didn’t happen.” Ha, no. Who was imagining a thing like that? [MTV]
