Two Snow White films are currently in the works: Rupert Sanders’s Snow White and the Huntsman (Universal), and Tarsem Singh’s The Brothers Grimm: Snow White (Relativity Media). Now, Deadline reports that Charlize Theron is in negotiations to play the jealous Evil Queen in Sanders’s Snow White, while Julia Roberts is being courted to play the Evil Queen in Tarsem’s! Apparently, neither actress is fit to play Snow White herself, but the two cast as evil queens — in films already poised to play against one another — could make an excellent, if expensive, rivalry.
