Will Smith is developing a still-untitled and to-be-cast hour-long drama for Fox, and it’ll be in the vein of his ass-kicking kind of movies, focusing on “a crime-fighting female college student in China,” which sounds sort of promising. Smith has tapped Chinese director Eva Jin to help create the show, but there’s no word on whether production will take place overseas. Meanwhile, Smith’s production company is still in the process of developing an hour-long TV show out of the Will Smith comedy Hitch, which will take place here in the U.S. [Variety]
