Earlier today, former American Idol contestant Alex Lambert tweeted that he was homeless, but not only is he NOT homeless, he’s actually working on a new music project. “Alex is not homeless,” said a rep for XIX Entertainment, who’s working with Lambert. “He’s been crashing on friends’ couches while looking for an apartment, but he’s getting a retainer and working on [new music] demos.” So that whole, “I have been crashin behind buidings and sleepin outside but I dont want nobody to feel sorry for me!” stuff wasn’t true. He’s working on a demo and sifting through piles of songs he might eventually record. Those series of homeless-talking tweets? Oh, Alex was just having a “bad day,” says the rep. Hours later Lambert tweeted, “I regret postin all that! Everything’ll be fine!” [HR]
