We’re sympathetic to the fact that sometimes actors need to cash in, but we do wish Edgar Ramirez, fresh off his universally beloved performance in the five-hour Carlos, might have found something a teensy bit better to cash in on: Ramirez has been offered a part in Wrath of the Titans, the sequel to Clash of the Titans, which even star Sam Worthington admitted wasn’t that good. (A number of other young actors, including Captain America’s Hayley Atwell, have been offered parts in the sequel as well.) Ramirez would play Ares, the god of war, and while his presence in the film might actually make it better, we still wished his first big, post-Carlos American project wouldn’t involve the Kraken.
