Robert Downey Jr. is your man: After embodying Mr. Peanut for an updated series of Planters ads, Downey Jr. has signed onto the DreamWorks project Peabody and Sherman, where he’ll play know-it-all canine Mr. Peabody in an adaptation of the famous Rocky and Bullwinkle short. The 3-D animated film will be directed by The Lion King’s Rob Minkoff, and here’s your uh-oh: It’s being scripted by Jeffrey Ventimilia and Joshua Sternin, who last wrote the big-screen Yogi Bear.
