She’s shined in movie roles both supporting (The 40-Year-Old Virgin) and lead (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist) — and, now, Kat Dennings will give the small screen a try. Vulture has learned that Dennings has been cast in a Michael Patrick King-produced CBS pilot called Two Broke Girls as one of the titular girls, a 22-year-old trying to make things happen in Brooklyn. And Lena Dunham’s all like, “Yeah, okay, nice try.”
