So you know how Craig Rowin asked for a million dollars, and then apparently some crazy millionaire was going to give it to him? Well, last night was the “ceremony” in which said millionaire was going to hand over the check but — surprise! — it was a hoax.
Of course, if a real millionaire had offered to give him a million dollars, this whole thing probably wouldn’t have been a hoax. But since the world works based on logic and people with that much money generally just don’t hand it out to people who ask, this was the next best result.
