Did you know that John Swartzwelder, the longtime Simpsons writer responsible for such episodes as “Homer at the Bat,” “Krusty Gets Kancelled,” “Bart Gets an Elephant,” and literally dozens of other episodes that are permanently seared into your brain from repeated viewings, has written some comedic novels that he’s self-published? It’s true! Apparently these have been mentioned in a couple of Simpsons DVD commentary tracks, but this is news to me, so I figured it may be news to you as well. With names like The Time Machine Did It and Dead Men Scare Me Stupid, how can you go wrong? Anybody read any of these?
