Okay, Garner’s remake — in which she’ll star as a younger, contemporary version of Agatha Christie’s character Miss Marple — isn’t meant to be explicitly “sexier.” But seeing as Marple, in her original iteration, was an old woman who did a lot of knitting, we feel safe making the call that this new take from Garner, who is also producing, will have a touch more sex appeal.
