Jersey Shore creator and co-executive producer Sally Ann Salsano spoke with Entertainment Weekly about tonight’s finale. She confirmed that Deena, and no other new cast members, will be going with the crew to Italy, described Paulie’s spinoff as being like The Hangover, Snooki and JWoww’s spinoff as being like Laverne & Shirley, and indicated that even her empathy for Sammi has its limits. Sammi has spent the entire season fighting, scarily, with her boyfriend Ronnie. About the ongoing drama, Salsano said, “They’ve seen [their behavior] on TV, Sammi saw him in Miami, they show up in Seaside, the same stuff is going down — at some point you say, ‘All right, she likes this.’” [EW]
