When we asked you who should play the political candidates in Game Change, Jay Roach’s HBO movie about the 2008 presidential election, we’re pretty sure that none of you suggested Julianne Moore for Sarah Palin. And yet, she’s the first piece of casting announced for the project, which has been adapted from the behind-the-scenes book written by Mark Halperin and New York’s own John Heilemann. Considering Moore’s penchant for over-the-top TV accents, her Palin ought to be a doozy.
