Megan Fox Joins Knocked Up Semi-Sequel

Judd Apatow must have a thing for candid leading ladies prone to tweaking their directors in public. For his semi-sequel to Knocked Up, where Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann will reprise their characters from the first film (but it’s still unclear whether Katherine Heigl will come back, especially since she dissed the movie in Vanity Fair), Apatow has hired Megan Fox, who could use the high-profile gig after Michael Bay fired her from the Transformers franchise and replaced her with a Victoria’s Secret model. No word yet on whom she’ll play, but Fox — never funnier than when she’s making up her own headline-catching non sequiturs during a press tour — should fit into Apatow’s highly improvisatory universe quite nicely.
