World-class comedian Bill Hader was on Carson Daly’s deathless talk show last night, and told the charming tale of how he got on Saturday Night Live. Without giving too much away: It involves Iron Chef America, a brief impersonation of a British person, a brief impersonation of Nick Offerman, a canoe-making site, Tina Fey laughing, Megan Mullally, and C-SPAN. It’s great, of course. Which has us thinking: Not to knock Daly, but can Hader get some higher-profile talk-show appearances, please? Or just more higher-profile appearances in general? You know what? Maybe just more for, and from, Bill Hader, in totality? Thanks! — Vulture.
